The Buddy (tutor) programme is one of the key activities of the Katowice Erasmus Student Network section. The Buddy is a Polish student who will help the international student get around at the University and in everyday life. Practical help varies from filling in registration forms, buying books, providing useful information to having a drink in the local student pub.

The tutor’s main tasks include:

• contacting the incoming student before his/her arrival
• picking up the student from airport, railway or bus station
• participating in the Integration Week organized by ESN
• providing any kind of help needed by the international student
