Different rules apply to higher education credentials issued in the countries which have signed bilateral agreements on recognition of educational credentials with Poland. The information on bilateral agreements is available on the website (Legal frames) of Bureau for Academic Recognition and International Exchange.

To nostrify a diploma at Karol Adamiecki University of Economics in Katowice the candidate needs to submit the following documents:

letter of application along with a written statement that the diploma has not been subject to nostrification procedure at any other Polish institution of higher education (download)
original of the bachelor/master diploma and its official Polish translation (please note that the diploma needs to be validated* )
complete transcript of subjects and results obtained during the course of studies with an official translation into Polish or English
copy of a certificate/diploma on the basis of which the candidate was admitted to the higher education institution which issued the diploma subject to be nostrification process

The nostrification procedure takes three months, counting from the date of submitting all required documents by the candidate.

Foreigners applying for master degree or postgraduate studies at Karol Adamiecki University of Economics in Katowice may be exempted from the nostrification procedure of their bachelor diploma. For this purpose, the candidate should submit an official letter applying for exemption from nostrification (download) to the faculty board along with the documents mentioned above.
